Of of our specialties is touring a space with a drone, known as a Drone Tour.
What is a Drone Tour?
It sounds like something from the future. That’s right, with recent advances in technology, drone tours are now possible. Using drones, our team will fly the space of your home or business using a coordinated route that allows the viewer to see the flow of the space. We typically start outside to show the location and then slowly fly into the space using available doors/windows. With drones, touring a location can be more personal, interactive, and engaging than before.
How Are Drone Tours Created?
Drone tours are shot using really small & safe FPV (first-person-view) drones. One of our pilots will first tour the property with the owner/broker and come up with a flight path that flows for the specific space. Once a route is chosen & agreed upon, the pilot will fly the route using VR goggles. The goggles allow the pilot to see exactly what the drone sees, ultimately allowing him/her to fly through the space, while remaining stationary. It is a smooth and seamless process that typically takes about 30min.
What can FPV Drones be Used For?
For the first time ever, you can fly a drone inside and out of a property. In the realm of real estate, this is really promising because you can now show prospective buyers properties 100% virtually. Out of state and overseas clients have a new option of exploring the space. Virtual tours have been taken to the next level with drone technology.
